The biggest resort in Haute Maurienne, Val Cenis, is about 130 kilometres from Albertville. Its reasonably large skiable terrain usually has excellent snow cover, and experienced skiers will find all the steep pistes that they need. Situated just a stone's throw from Italy, this beautiful valley also benefits from an expressway connection that simplifies access. It should also be noted that this region is renowned for having many little-known architectural and sculptural treasures.
